ABOUT MCK

In my journey across continents and into the nooks of our neighborhoods, I’ve unearthed treasures with stories waiting to be told. Each piece of jewelry I discover carries a unique narrative, whether it holds hidden value or personal significance.

My fascination with gems and jewelry sprouted from the fertile soil of Hawaii, where I wandered the shores collecting shells that eventually led me to craft island-inspired jewelry. Under the guidance of a mentor who recognized my natural curiosity, I began a 20-year journey with GIA (Gemological Institute of America) as the Museum manager and exhibit designer. During this time, I had the opportunity to examine numerous extraordinary pieces and uncover the fascinating backgrounds of many objects. From curating exhibitions to evaluating private collections, my career has been filled with rare discoveries and enriching encounters.

Now, I stand at the intersection of two interconnected professional paths. As an experienced designer, I am still deeply involved in this creative pursuit. Additionally, I’ve developed a passion for assisting clients in uncovering the hidden potential in their personal collections. Whether you're looking to:

  • Breathe new life into a family heirloom

  • Repair a cherished signature piece

  • Mark a significant milestone

  • Create a tailored dream creation

  • Or gain insights from my 20+ years in the industry

I’m here to guide you with a blend of professional care and personal passion.

At the heart of it all, I remain that barefoot child on the beaches of Kona, forever inspired by the new and nostalgic, hoping to stir that same inspiration in others while never forgetting the beauty of our origins.
